Born in Hong Kong, raised in Shanghai & Cupertino, went to college on the East Coast, and have been living in (and falling in love with) San Francisco ever since 🌉
My major side quest is making mini documentaries around the city (pinch me moment when I got featured in Eater SF ✨). People often ask why I do it — director Celine Song once said that her "drug of choice is people," and that pretty much sums it up for me.
Other things I nerd about: college a cappella (shoutout to the Harvard-Radcliffe Veritones), films & video essays, houseplants, hand-pulled noodles, reality TV
Why I work at Gamma
Growing up, I always cared a little too much about text box padding, fonts, and hex codes. Building a product that helps people share ideas visually feels personal to me.
The added bonus is building it with people who are ridiculously passionate about what they do and ridiculously good at what they do, and Gamma has no shortage of that 🫶

I’m a bookworm turned PM turned VC turned PM, and I’m so happy to be at Gamma.
I was born in Boston, raised in Ann Arbor, and moved to San Francisco right after college—where I’ve (mostly) been ever since! (Except for that time I moved to Germany…)
I have two young kids take every chance I can get to see the world through their eyes. I love learning and always try to be learning something new, whether it’s finally committing Figma’s keyboard shortcuts to memory or taking an acting class at The Meisner Technique Studio.
Why I work at Gamma
After spending the last 4+ years in VC, I realized there’s simply no place like Gamma! I joined in June 2025 as the PM of our core product team, responsible for the editor, visuals, and more.
I’ve been excited about tools for imagination for a long time, and it’s a joy to be building one with the best team ever.

I've worked in everything from materials science and industrial manufacturing to building foundation models and building applications on top.
When I'm not at work, I'm usually exploring a new place, listening to a podcast, enjoying some form of the performing arts, or trying out a new activity.
Growing houseplants is my new hobby. My next aim is to grow an indoor orange tree!
Why I work at Gamma
Gamma combines all my Product interests — AI x productivity x mass usage. The company is also at the sweet stage where the rapid experimentation is the norm and there's huge room for exploration, but all of this is also grounded in real user feedback and tons of it!
The team is also small and high agency team — my kind of people!
Max Blaha

LA native that has been in SF for the last 10 years. Still a huge Dodger fan but very lucky to get to enjoy the outdoors across all seasons living in the beautiful Bay Area. Love to camp in the warmer months and currently transitioning from snowboarding to skiing. At work, you’ll usually find me hunkered down in a corner jamming to a house mix.
Why I work at Gamma
The people are amazing. From day 1, I knew this would be a great fit and I have not looked back since. It’s also such a relief getting to work on a fantastic product that I use daily - even outside of work!
As an even bigger plus, the dog game here is on another level. All the pups are so cute and add to the excitement of coming in each day.
